Jackie was born artistic. As a child she would draw on anything, with anything that was available, but as she grew she developed a love of painting. She has used multiple mediums to do murals, watercolor, portraits, impressionistic landscapes and flowers, but her true love is oil. Jackie, equally gifted with either brush or palette knife says, “Plein air painting is very spiritual” and when inspired by the unique shades of sunlight in nature she may paint entire scenes in only moments.

In her early work, she studied with Muller-Lux a renown European master, Scottsdale School of Art, Dick Phillips, watercolorist, and H. Arden Edwards, art curator of the Southwest Museum. Recently she has also studied with Vincent Farrell , Roger Armstrong, Ken Auster and John Cosby of Laguna Beach, California.

Jackie is also a member of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association and the American Society of Portrait Artists. Many of her paintings have sold throughout the United States.
